Conceived and designed a “Medievalist” reinterpretation of The Odyssey, creating original printed textiles and a handmade costume representing the sorceress Circe. Drawing on the epic’s central theme of nostos—the longing for return— exploring memory and history as an imagined past that remains out of reach. The designs combine Medievalist and contemporary runway silhouettes with original stylised, symbolic prints, referencing the traditions of patch-working and weaving through a contemporary lense. Performance-driven exploration of myth’s enduring relevance, where costume becomes a vessel for storytelling: bridging classical heritage with contemporary anxieties.
