At the 2023 Prague Quadrennial, Serena was part of the curatorial team representing the UK Pavilion, one of 20 students selected nationwide. Collaboratively designed scenography, costumes, and performance elements for Q, an interactive installation that transformed the act of queuing into a satirical commentary on British bureaucracy and institutional stagnation. Combining humor with critique, the piece invited audiences to engage directly with the performance, blurring the boundary between spectator and participant. Costume and spatial design, to shape an immersive environment that underscored themes of inaccessibility and underfunding while maintaining a playful, absurdist tone.
